The Executive 和 Governance Committees of the 参观委员会 will meet on Monday, 3月28日, 2022, in the Board Room of the 布罗德里克 餐厅 Commons on the main campus in Norfolk, 维吉尼亚州. The Executive Committee will meet from Noon-1:00 PM 和 the Governance Committee will meet from 1:00-2:00 PM. The agendas are attached.
A Public Forum on the administration's proposed 2022-2023 tuition 和 fees will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM.
根据… 23节.1-307 of the Code of 维吉尼亚州 和 Board Policy 1106 Public Comment on 本科 学费 和 M和atory Fee Increases, Old Dominion University is asking the 参观委员会 to consider a tuition increase for undergraduate 和 graduate students ranging between 0 to 3.95 percent, effective summer semester. These increases reflect the continued commitment to affordability at Old Dominion, which remains the most affordable public doctoral institution in the Commonwealth of 维吉尼亚州.
The additional tuition 和 fee revenue will be used to retain 和 attract faculty, invest in STEM-H degree production, provide student financial assistance, maintain the operation of facilities, enhance the technology infrastructure, further strategic initiatives, 和 provide funding for m和ated items including potential m和ated compensation increases 和 board-approved capital investments.
Individuals will have an opportunity to comment following the administration's presentation on the 2022-2023 proposed tuition 和 fees. Those wishing to comment during this session must register in advance with Donna Meeks, Executive Secretary to the 参观委员会, no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022. Requests must be made in writing via email (dmeeks@cross-culturalcommunications.com) 和 will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Registered speakers will have up to three minutes to speak 和 comment must be limited to the topic of undergraduate tuition 和 m和atory fee increases. The public comment session will be limited to 60 minutes or less if those wishing to comment have had an opportunity to do so.
The 参观委员会 will vote on the 2022-2023 学费 和 Fee Proposal at its meeting on Friday, 4月22日, 2022.
